In April 1972, Werner Edmundo Obst, with an entrepreneurial spirit and commercial vision, founded the company Representações Obst Ltda, whose main activity was the agency of business between foreign companies that wanted to sell their products in the Brazilian market and potential importers.

Representações Obst served as a foundation for, later, in 1995, the company OBST TRADE COMÉRCIO EXTERIOR LTDA which is currently managed by the second generation of the Obst family: the brothers George and André Obst. For more than 40 years the company has been dedicated to various activities related to foreign trade, striving for the deep seriousness and efficiency - inheritance of its founder.

The company currently has commercial relations with countries such as Germany, Argentina, Belgium, Canada, Chile, China, the United States, Peru and Uruguay.
